The Entire Palace Froze When the Alien Queen’s Daughter Ran and Hugged Me
Imagine being so warm that people think you are a literal furnace. That is what happens to Donnie, a human who crashes on a frozen planet. Everyone there is cold and slow because a bad guy is poisoning the air to keep them weak. When the little princess hugs Donnie, she turns bright red and wakes up because he is 98 degrees! It is a wild idea that being a normal human makes you a superhero to aliens. I loved how it felt like taming a scared animal, where a little kindness changes everything. My coffee got cold while I read this because I could not look away from the screen!
The story has a great mix of action and heart. Donnie uses his strong human muscles to fight giant ice robots, but the best part is seeing the Queen learn to trust him. It is all about how humans can be protectors just by being ourselves. The bad guy gets what he deserves, and the ending makes you feel really good inside. If you ever feel like the world is a cold place, this story will warm you right up. You should definitely check it out if you love space adventures with a lot of soul. It is awesome.

The final showdown in the spire is epic. Seeing Donnie use human strength to win is the best kind of payoff.
6. Found Family Factor: 10/10
The way Donnie becomes a dad-figure to the princess and a partner to the Queen is just so wholesome. I love it.

It’s the perfect length for a quick escape from reality. Not too short, not too long, just right for a solid story session.
8. Logic Coagulation: 9/10
The idea that humans are “heat beasts” because of our body temp is actually a really clever way to make us special!

When you realize the Archduke has been poisoning his own people for years, it really hits you in the feels.

It starts fast and stays fast. There’s never a boring moment from the crash to the final explosion.
11. Possible Sequel: Yes
I really want to see Donnie and Riella rule the kingdom together. There’s so much more they could do!

Donnie is a great narrator. He’s relatable and his internal monologue about how cold it is makes total sense.

The princess hugging Donnie for warmth definitely made my eyes a little misty. It’s just so sweet.

The themes of trust and overcoming fear are super strong here. It’s more than just a space fight; it’s a story about heart.
16. Trope Remix Score: 9/10
Taking the “humans are from high gravity” and “humans are hot” tropes and mixing them together is genius.
